Russell has spent more than two decades creating digital products for regulated organisations including banks, mortgage providers, investment firms and financial services regulators themselves. During that time he repeatedly encountered the same issue: fragmented UX research, disconnected accessibility reviews and time-consuming regulatory reporting.

He created UXDuty from the ground up in response to those challenges. Shaped by real agency delivery in financial services, the platform helps teams evidence usability, accessibility and Consumer Duty considerations in a more structured and consistent way.

That experience underpins the product. Combined with advances in AI, reviews that once took one day can now be completed in minutes. As the underlying models improve, UXDuty continues to evolve as an automated UX analysis platform for regulated organisations.

Russell co-founded Indulge in 2009 and leads UX strategy and delivery across the business. The agency has worked with regulated organisations including Rothschild & Co, Skipton International, Oak Group and financial regulators to improve digital products through research-led UX and accessible design.
